Shipping Tips & Returns Policy

SHIPPING: When your bars leave The Cocoa Forge kitchen they are perfectly in temper, beautiful and shiny. Hot (and/or damp) weather conditions can alter your bars during shipping and you'll need to use your common sense when it comes to shipping timing.  Oddly, I have no control over the weather and cannot guarantee your bars will still be beautiful when they arrive!  They could arrive in the form of a chocolate puddle!  Or they could bloom.  Gasp! I do not use (or even have) things like ice packs etc.  I know shipping costs are so high these days but unless you go with an overnight status, there is some risk with shipping chocolate! I mainly use FedEx 2 day. But I have no way of knowing if you'll be home to receive your package or how long it will sit out in not ideal conditions. And so, dear fellow chocolate enthusiast, I must leave your decision to ship in your very capable hands.

SIDE NOTE: If your Cocoa Forge bars (or any other chocolate you may have) melts or blooms (loses it's temper and has gotten chalky looking) take comfort! It has not been ruined! It is still good! It's just not as pretty! At this point, you can still enjoy it – the texture will just be different than what you are used to. Or, you could re-temper it. Or, you could go ahead and gently melt it all the way and enjoy it warm. (Which, I must admit, is actually the best way to enjoy your chocolate because ALL the flavors are immediately available when its warm). But do not despair if your chocolate is not beautiful on the outside, cuz it IS beautiful on the inside.

RETURNS: Please note there are no returns (it's a food law).  If you are in some way dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact me and we can actually converse!
